Election Watch - Started as a ‘know your electoral candidate’ initiative, it evolved into a campaign to engage citizens in preventing polling irregularities and screening candidates for criminal records. In Andhra Pradesh, the efforts led contesting parties to not field half the candidates in Lok Satta’s list owing to criminalisation.

Citizens Charter - in an attempt to efficiently enhance service delivery, FDR led the advocacy for a Citizens Charter across government departments, which outlines clear responsibilities, performance standards, service delivery timelines, and compensation mechanisms for service failures.

Short delivery of petrol
Short delivery of petrol - on account of leakages and irregularities in services, FDR/Loksatta initiated random inspections of petrol stations with measuring cans for verification. Covering over 1500 stations, the measurement activity revealed 5-10% irregularities in petrol delivery, alerting oil companies and State governments. The effort led to saving of Rs. 1 Crore per day, and the installation of electronic devices at stations to test quality.
