Research and Advocacy Internship

The internship programme provides an opportunity to gain first-hand experience across all aspects of governance and public policy reforms, from evidence-based research, analysis of global best practices, formulation of reform proposals to the final stage of advocacy.

The programme results in a deeper understanding of India’s political economy and the principles of strategising reform in such a milieu.

Responsibilities include research and analysis across one or more of FDR’s Focus Areas. The interns will also be required to contribute to FDR’s advocacy outreach, directed towards both key decision-makers and shaping public opinion.

Being an intellectually demanding yet rewarding experience, all applications are scrutinised based on motivation statement, academic performance, any professional or work experience (including past internships), and research and writing ability.
