Foundation for Democratic Reforms analyzed the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2011 and prepared a background note on the subject. We also engaged with stakeholders, including the Andhra Pradesh chapter of the Indian Medical Association, to understand their concerns and drafted the “Informed Choice of Clinical Establishments Bill” accordingly. This draft bill was shared with the following state governments:
